Onboarding walkthrough

This guide walks you through everything from your activation email to a fully set-up account. The whole flow takes about 10 minutes.

1. Activate your account

You'll receive an email titled "Complete your Ribbler setup" with a Complete the Setup button. The link is personal and expires after 3 days — if it has expired, no action is needed: the Ribbler team is notified automatically and will send you a fresh one.

Clicking the link takes you to a Create your password screen. Pick a password (at least 8 characters) and continue — you're signed in automatically and land in the guided setup wizard.

2. Tell us about your company

The first wizard step asks for the basics:

  • Legal name and trade name (the name customers know you by)
  • Contact phone and website
  • Which CRM you use — pick from the list, or "Spreadsheet / none" if you track jobs another way

Ribbler reads your website in the background and pre-fills your campaign settings (services, service area, photos) so you won't have to type them later.

3. Connect Google Ads

Enter your 10-digit Google Ads customer ID (like 123-456-7890) — see Find your Google Ads customer ID if you're not sure where it is. Don't have an account yet? The step links you to Google's account creation flow.

After you submit the ID, Google sends your account a manager invitation from Ribbler. Accept it from the email Google sends you, or in Google Ads under Admin → Access and security → Managers. You can continue the wizard without waiting — we'll remind you later if the invitation is still pending.

4. Payment method & terms

Save a card for your subscription. You will not be charged right now — your subscription begins only when your first campaign goes live. Then read and accept the Terms of Service to continue.

5. Campaign setup

After the "Your account is set up!" screen, choose Set up my campaign now (or "Not now" — you can finish later from your dashboard's action list):

  1. Review your company info — we pre-filled this from your website: address, year established, the services you offer, service-area cities. Fix anything that's off. Tip: any service you leave unselected won't be advertised.
  2. Campaign preferences — monthly budget (we recommend starting at $2,000–3,000/month), campaign types, which services to advertise, licensing/insurance badges, and your primary city or metro area.

That's it — our team crafts your landing page and ads and reaches out as soon as your campaign is ready for review.

What happens next

Your dashboard shows an actions required list if anything still needs you (for example, the Google Ads invitation). The Ribbler team is notified the moment your setup completes and starts working on your campaign.
